1. Delicious Philly Cheesesteak Sliders with Onions, Peppers, and Fresh Steak

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 large green pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 pound fresh shaved steak
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional, for brushing buns)

Directions:

Step 1: Sauté the Onions and Peppers

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the thinly sliced onions and green pepper, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until softened and slightly caramelized.
  3. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Steak

  1. In the same skillet, add the shaved steak. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
  2. Cook the steak for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat.

Step 3: Assemble the Sliders

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the cooked steak evenly over the bottom buns, followed by the onions and peppers.
  4. Place the provolone cheese slices over the top of the onions and peppers.
  5. Cover with the top halves of the slider buns.

Step 4: Bake the Sliders

  1. (Optional) Brush the tops of the slider buns with melted butter for added flavor.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are lightly toasted.

Step 5: Serve

  1. Remove the sliders from the oven and serve hot. Enjoy!
